Privacy policy

What we collect

Your mobile number (verified by OTP), name, date of birth, gender (optional), village/town, district and an emergency contact. For minors, guardian name, number and consent.

For each checkpoint: the photo you take, your GPS location and its accuracy, the server time it was received, and basic device/session details used only for fraud review. At the finish: your video.

Why

To run the competition: verify that you visited each checkpoint, measure your official time, prevent cheating, publish results and contact you or your emergency contact if you need help.

Who can see it

The public leaderboard shows only your name, participant ID, village, district, age/gender category, times and verification status.

Your phone number, emergency contact, exact GPS coordinates, photos and video are visible only to authorised organisers. Every time an organiser opens your evidence it is recorded in an audit log.

How long we keep it

Evidence (photos, videos, coordinates) is deleted after the retention period set for the event (default 365 days). Final results may be kept as the event record.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your personal data from your Profile page. We remove your personal details, photos and video. If the event results must be retained, only an anonymous result ("Withdrawn participant") is kept.

Important

GPS and photos are checked automatically and by people, but a phone browser cannot prove that a location was not faked. Evidence is described as "GPS-checked and server-timestamped", not fraud-proof.
